1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By making a booking with Sauna Society, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, including the Sauna Society Waiver & Safety Guidelines.
2. BOOKINGS & PAYMENT
• All bookings must be made online or via approved channels
• Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed
• Bookings are not confirmed until payment is received
• Prices are listed in AUD and include GST (where applicable)
3. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
We understand that plans can change.
Bookings are non-refundable, however we offer flexibility shortly after booking:
• You may reschedule your session within 48 hours of making your booking
• Simply open your confirmation email and click the “Change/Cancel Booking” button
• Follow the prompts to select a new time (subject to availability)
After this 48-hour window, all bookings are considered final and cannot be changed, credited or refunded, including missed sessions.
4. WEATHER & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Sauna Society operates in outdoor environments. By booking, you acknowledge:
• Conditions may vary (wind, temperature, terrain)
• Sessions may be modified or cancelled for safety reasons
• No compensation is provided for changes due to safety compliance
5. USE OF SAUNA
Customers agree to:
• Follow all safety instructions and signage
• Use the sauna responsibly and at their own risk
• Exit immediately if feeling unwell
• Respect session time limits and occupancy rules
Sauna Society reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person who:
• Appears intoxicated
• Acts in an unsafe or disruptive manner
• Fails to follow instructions
No refunds will be provided in these cases.
6. HEALTH & FITNESS
By booking, you confirm that:
• You are medically fit to use a sauna
• You understand the risks of heat exposure
• You have reviewed and accepted the Sauna Society Waiver
Participation is at your own risk.
7. NATURAL WATER USE (WHERE APPLICABLE)
Where sessions occur near rivers, lakes or ocean:
• Water entry is voluntary and unsupervised
• No lifeguard services are provided
• Customers assume all risks associated with water use
8. MINORS
• Minors must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian
• A parent/guardian must sign the waiver on behalf of minors
• Sauna Society does not provide supervision of children
9. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Customers are responsible for their personal items. Sauna Society accepts no liability for loss, theft or damage.
10. DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Customers may be held financially responsible for any damage caused to:
• Sauna equipment
• Fixtures or fittings
• Surrounding property
11. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA
Photos or videos may be taken for promotional purposes. Customers can opt out via the waiver or by notifying staff.
12. LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
• Sauna Society is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from participation
• Liability cannot be excluded where restricted under the Australian Consumer Law
13. THIRD-PARTY LOCATIONS
Sauna Society may operate on:
• Public land
• Council-managed land
• Private property
• Event venues
We are not responsible for conditions outside the sauna structure, including terrain, access or environmental hazards.
14. FORCE MAJEURE
Sauna Society is not liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond reasonable control, including:
• Weather events
• Fire restrictions
• Government directives
• Natural disasters
15. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in New South Wales or Victoria, depending on where services are delivered.
16. CHANGES TO TERMS
Sauna Society reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always apply to new bookings.
