STEP OUT OF THE NOISE

The Experience

Set on the bank of this iconic river is where everything slows down.

Warm timber. Rising heat. Cool air on your skin.

The river moving quietly beside you.

You move between sauna and cold water - breathing deeper, thinking less, letting your body settle.

No rush. No pressure. A simple rhythm.

Heat. Cold. Rest. Recover. Repeat

How It Works

Choose a time that suits you and book your sauna session in Albury online. Sessions run for 60 minutes and are limited to 6 people to keep things comfortable.

1. Book your session

Head down to Albury River Precinct on the Murray River. Bring your swimwear, check in, and get comfortable before your session begins.

2. Arrive & settle in

Step into the wood-fired sauna and spend around 10–15 minutes warming up. The sauna runs at approximately 70–80°C, designed to support circulation, relaxation, and recovery.

3. Heat up

Take a dip in the Murray River. Cold plunge to cool down. This hot/cold contrast is where many of the benefits come from.

4. Cool off in the river

Move between sauna and river throughout your session. Most people follow a simple rhythm of heat, cold, rest — repeated over the hour.

5. Repeat at your own pace

Finish your session feeling refreshed, reset and ready to go. Whether it’s part of your weekly routine or something new to try, it’s a simple way to feel better.

6. Reset & head off

Community

Down by the river, something good happens. People come together, slow down, and reset. Strangers become regulars. Regulars become friends. Some of the best conversations have started on our cedar bench by the river.

This is what keeps people coming back to Sauna Society.
